TeleScript TECHi™ Settings
1. Preparation
- Install TeleScript TECHi on your Apple iPad®.
- Launch TECHi by tapping the desktop icon.
2. Tap the "Settings" icon.
3. Settings affect the overall behavior of TeleScript TECHi.
The settings in the upper segment of the dialog affect default text appearance.
- Select the Font (type face.) The text image previews the appearance.
- Select the default text alignment
- Select the text, and text background colors
- Use the "Line spacing" slider to set vertical spacing.
- If the "Always use text defaults" slider is set to the right (enabled), then the settings applied here will be immediatedly applied to the loaded script.
- If the slider is set to the left (disabled), then these settings will be used when new scripts are created, but type face and alignment will be set using the "Font Select" dialog.
The settings in the lower segment control affect other aspects of program option.
- Reverse know direction. Applies the the HSAI100 hand controller knob. If reversed, then a clockwise motion will increase speed.
- Speed Sensitivity. Move the slider to the left to decrease the HCAI100 sensitivity to rotation. If moved to the right, then knob rotation will cause a greater increase/decrease in prompter scrolling speed.
- Button Functions. You can select the function of the three assignable buttons on the HCAI100 Controller. A check will appear beside the currently selected function.
- Reflect Prompter. The selection in this section differs from the choice made in Other one-touch commands in that this selection allows specifying which of multiple monitors -- if connected -- will read directly and which will be "flipped" vertically or horizontally.
- Enable web file manager and controller. This switch must be moved to the right (enabled) in order to use the Web file interface, the IP Controllert or IP Preview.
- User name and password are optional for the Web Connect features, but are highly recommended for security.
